| Favorite School Memory | No specific event stands out. I was one of the unfortunate few who's time "On campus" was less than memorable. However, I do remember the great times I had with those classmates who became friends off campus. |
| About Me | I did spend a little time in college but not enough to completely destroy my common sense and grip on reality. Plied my skills in the construction trades for a few years before enlisting for a tour of duty in the U.S.Navy as a carrier-borne aircrewman hunting those pesky Russian submarines. While I thoroughly enjoyed my job aloft among the clouds and the remarkable travel opportunities, I couldn't relegate myself to the unique aspects of shipboard life. So after completing my term of obligated service I bid farewell to life on the ole briney and returned home to Miami and discovered my true calling in life. In the year 1991 I entered the fire service and have been at it ever since. I am presently a Fire officer/paramedic for the City of Jacksonville but, if all goes according to plan, by this time next year I will be joyfully retired and sitting in a classroom/lecture hall in County Donegal, Ireland absorbing the culture and language of my ancestors. I have done quite a bit of traveling the past few years with the highlight being a 2 week motorcycle tour of Ireland 2 years ago. I am really looking forward to returning next year.
