Richard (Choo-Choo) Perry

Richard (Choo-Choo) Perry

Class of 1982

The second best point guard in the history of M.J. As a junior he made Who's Who in Americas High School Basketball, averaging 15.2pts. and 10.0 a game. Choo-Choo was with out a doubt the most exciting ball handler, best defensive, game manager and savvyest point guard I've ever seen and i'm sure anyone who seen him play will second this motion. He is stilled talked about today when Jackson Generals basketball is mentioned. His senior year he led the generals to the state. A matter if fact it was the last time Jackson mens basketball team reached state competion. It will be a shame that he's not memorized by history.
