About Me	I went in to the US Navy after leaving Miami High School in Aug. 1960, served 4 years in Communication, completing my service time Aug. 1964. Worked in constriction in Fairland, OK till I started Electronic School in Joplin, MO. January 1965. Met Janet L. Johnson on December 28, 1964 and Married on February 5th, 1965. Completing Electronic School January 1966. Started at B.F. Goodrich Tire Co. in Miami, OK. February 1966. Worked in the Farm Service Tire Department for 15 years. I left B.F. Goodrich in 1978, went back to School at OSU Tech. to get my Associates in Electrical Engineering and started work in June 1980 with Phillips Petroleum Co. in Bartlesville, OK. I started as an Electrical Designer Draftsman, promoted to Lead Designer in 1987. Worked in this field till 1993, promoted to Electrical Construction Supervisor. Worked on Projects at most of Phillips Plants. Spent over four years in Puerto Rico on several Projects updating Phillips Puerto Rico Core plant there. We returned to Bartlesville in 1998 working at Phillips Research Center till I was laid off in February '99. I took the Retirement Package in May '99 and worked for a Refinery in Kansas. I was called back to work at Chevron/Phillips Chemical Plant in Pasadena, Texas to rebuild a plant that had two explosions, one in 1999 and one in 2000. Cane back to Bartlesville going on Social Security in 2003 at age 62. Now I work in my wood working shop and redoing my back yard. I have Five Girls and Two Boys; one girl “Cheryl” was adopted at age 44, Gwen, Mendy and Kathy. The Two Boys, James Jr. and James Richard (Grandson) adopted at age 14. Cheryl is married and has two-step daughters; Gwen is single no kids; Mendy is married, she has two-step daughters and one son (James Richard); Kathy is married with one daughter and two-step sons. James Jr. is single with three daughters living with their mother; James Richard is 20 still single living with me. We have another Girl Connie that we adopted.
