Served on the faculty at the University of South Carolina, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, University of Miami, Arizona State University, and Texas Tech University. Administratively served as department chair twice, associate department chair for research and graduate programs, and associate dean for research, director of an engineering inclusive learning community, and graduate software engineering program coordinator. Association for Computing Machinery doctoral forum award. Three years Air Force Studies Board. Software engineering research and teaching.
