| About Me | Worked in small press publishing while attending school. Published poems and essays in a variety of "little" magazines in the late '60s and '70s. Later, after my son was born, I enjoyed a 25 year career as an advertising writer for the Seattle branches of national ad agencies Chiat Day & McCann-Erickson. I also worked freelance, in-house and with local agencies. In the early 90s, as Marketing Director for a local publishing house, I created and launched Spa Magazine (later sold to the publisher of "Islands Magazine").
