Spargo, Catherine "Cathy" Bernice
56, of Spokane, WA passed away on April 15, 2016. Catherine Bernice Spargo, Born in Superior Arizona on August 19, 1959 and was the 8th child of Jess and Tillie Padilla. Cathy's early years were in Superior, but the family moved to Mesa, AZ when Cathy was about 7 where she was raised. Cathy attended Hawthorne Elementary, Longfellow Elementary, Mesa Jr. HS and Mesa HS. She was involved in Girl Scouts and Church Activities. In 1979, she married Christopher Spargo. She was his loving and supportive wife and soulmate. Together, they had six children. Her family was always her first priority. One of her greatest joys was being a Mother. She had a bright spirit and enjoyed the company of friends and family. She was a terrific cook, seamstress, counselor, sister, and friend. She also enjoyed the changing seasons and relocated to Spokane, WA in 2001. Cathy is survived by her husband, Christopher, her children, Talia Chambers (Steven), Corbin Spargo (Chantel), Amanda, Tess, and Audra Spargo, and by her five grandchildren Beau and Scarlett Chambers, Gwendolyn and Cole Spargo, and Thomas Spargo. Her siblings Richard Padilla (Schella), Christine Castillo (Andres), Janis Spargo Padilla, Jacque Hocklander (Neal), David Padilla, Antionette Temple (Barry) and Eric Padilla. Her Mother in law Wilma Spargo, Sister in law Lisa Spargo, Brother in laws Gary (Suzy and Lyle (Irene) Spargo. She had many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and dear friends who adored her as much as she adored them. She is preceded in death by her Son Jarrod Jesse Spargo, Brothers Joe and Mark Padilla, Parents Jess and Tillie Padilla. A Memorial Service Will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at the LDS Church 2618 N. Lindsay Road Mesa, Arizona 85213
