Air Force, 20+ Years
US Air Force in 1996 as an Active Duty service member. My first duty station was Minot AFB, North Dakota. From there we moved to McGuire AFB, New Jersey (now known as Joint Base McGuire-Dix-:Lakehurst, NJ). I left AD in 2008, to join the New Jersey Air National Guard for family reasons but it did allow me the opportunity to continue my military career and I was able to retire after 21 years of Honorable service. I am very thankful and grateful for the opportunities that I had in the service, God is good.

Our Merritt High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Merritt High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Elk City are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
