About	David Stott David was a kind, loving person who made time to listen or lend a hand or shoulder to patients, friends and colleagues in need. His happiest moments were times spent with his loving wife, Laura, and his three beautiful sons - John, Matthew & Nathan. David was a cherished husband, father, brother and son who touched the hearts of so many people in our community and hospitals. He dedicated his life to healing and helping others and will be forever remembered by the many people whose lives he touched in so many ways â€¦ he was our strength in hard times. David L. Stott passed away February 24, 2010. He was born May 28, 1966 in Portland, OR; graduated from Meridian High School in 1984, Boise State University and Cornell Medical College in 1992. At the time of his death, he was employed by Cardiovascular Associates as a physician assistant where he worked for the last 18 years. Dave's fondest memories were with his family and friends. He loved to travel the world with Laura and explore nature with his boys. He and the boys spent many hours camping, boating, paintballing, fishing and racing go-carts at Fast Lane. He was a "die hard" Boise State fan and rarely missed a game. He loved to take weekend walks with his German Sheppard, Suessa, along the greenbelt in Eagle. Dave organized the annual "WBW" weekend with family and friends, which was the highlight of summer. David is survived by his wife, Laura, and sons John (11), Matthew (10) and Nathan (8); his mother, Ann (Fritz) Beaumont; his father, Donald (Susan) Stott; his sisters Susan (Cameron) Azad of La Canada, CA and Andrea (William) Herlan; mother-in-law Molly Uberuaga; sister-in-law Jana Gill; and nieces and nephews Brandon & Alexandra Azad of La Canada, CA; Tyler and Matt Scoggins; and Olivia and Jeffrey Gill; as well as the many, many friends who stood by his side. Memorial Services for David will be held Saturday, Feb 27, 2010 @ 2 PM at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Avenue, Boise, ID. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the David Stott Memorial Trust Fund through Wells Fargo Bank. Published in Idaho Statesman on February 26, 2010
