About	Allen A. Millar, 68, of Menomonie, died on April 29, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Allen was born May 20, 1945, in Menomonie, to William and Marjorie (Price) Millar. He graduated from Menomonie High School and furthered his education at WITC in Rice Lake. On Oct. 28, 1967, he married Judy M. Werner in Menomonie. In his spare time, he liked to fish, having taught many family members the fine art of catching, cleaning, cooking and eating fish. He also liked to tinker with antique cars. His most recent antique was an award-winning 1976 Ford Pinto that he drove in local parades. He was a member of the Red Cedar Antique Auto Club. Allen had a sense of humor that wouldn’t quit. He always had a joke or a gag gift at Christmas for everyone. Most of all, he loved his family. Allen is survived by his wife, Judy, of Menomonie; three daughters, Joanne Millar, Lynn Millar and Missy (Scott Leffel) Millar, all of Menomonie; two grandchildren, Samantha and Nicholas Clark; mother, Marjorie Poe of Texas; one brother, Bill (Barb) Millar of Texas; one sister, Sherry (Stan) White of Texas; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, William Millar, Sr; and one sister, Cindy Millar. A time of remembrance will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 5, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
