About	Sandra "Sandy" L. Kuester, age 64,of Menomonie, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Red Cedar Medical Center in Menomonie due to health complications. She was born Oct. 29, 1946, in Menomonie, to Russell and Carol (Johnson) Johnson. She was a graduate of Menomonie High School in 1964. Sandy worked for The Eau Claire Academy for more than 34 years as a financial director. She married Tom Kuester on Dec. 23, 1978, in Menomonie. In the past, Sandy enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Her favorite pastime was going to "the cabin" and reading a good book. She is survived by her husband, Tom of Menomonie; two sons, Jake (Sara) of Menomonie and Matt of Menomonie; one granddaughter, Lucy; one brother, Bill Johnson of Menomonie; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at Olson Funeral Home on Thursday. Her wish was to have a cremation take place; and her cremains will be scattered at "her cabin" at a later date.
