About | Nichole J. (Roy) Caturia, age 24, of Elk Mound, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at Myrtle Werth Hospital-Mayo Health System in Menomonie as the result of an auto accident. The former Nichole Jan Roy was born Nov. 19, 1976, in Superior to James Gerald and Jacqueline (Young) Roy. In 1985, she moved with her family to Menomonie where she attended Menomonie public schools. Nichole was a certified nurses' assistant graduate and has been employed at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. Nichole married Jeremy Caturia Aug. 19, 2000, in Menomonie. She and her husband have been involved with the Elk Mound Fire Department volunteers. She was very close to her family and especially enjoyed her nieces. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Nichole is survived by her husband, Jeremy Caturia of Elk Mound; her parents, Jackie (Randy) O'Byran of Menomonie, Jerry (Julie) Roy of Siren, and Bruce Benson of Durand; her brothers and sisters, Bridget (Ian) French of Knapp, Bradley Benson of Winona, Minn., Marilla Benson of Menomonie, Jamie Roy of Siren, Raymond Roy of Siren, Zach O'Byran of Menomonie, and Andy O'Bryan of Menomonie; two nieces, Allison Benson and Caitlyn French; grandparents, Jack and Janice Young of Superior, Ina Roy of Siren, and Elsie Benson of Webster; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Allan and Susan Caturia of Elk Mound; a sister-in-law, Lisa Caturia of Eau Claire; grandparents-in-law, Dwight and Olliafay Caturia of Arkansaw; aunts, uncles and cousins; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents; grandparents, Jim Roy and Lloyd Benson; an uncle, Allen Young; and a brother-in-law, Allan Caturia. Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Menomonie with the Rev. Blair Kjetland officiating. Burial was in The French Cemetery in Arkansaw. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie handled arrangements. |
