ERICKSON Ronald G. Erickson, 57, of Menomonie, WI passed away Friday August 22, 2008 at his home. Ronald was born March 16, 1951 to Elmer and Hazel (Gordon) Erickson in Menomonie where he lived all his life. He graduated from Menomonie high school and went on to work as a builder for Menards. Ron was a loyal friend who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his father’s antique gun collection. Ronald is survived by One sister, Andrea (John) Sundstrom of New Douglas, IL Two Nieces, Mary (Dennis) Harris, Jr. of New Douglas, IL Anna Sundstrom of New Douglas, IL Two Nephews, John Sundstrom Jr. of New Douglas, IL Andrew Sundstrom of New Douglas, IL An uncle, Melvin Erickson of Barron, WI Two Aunts, Hazel Husby of MN and Ione Erickson of Coon Rapids MN And other cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Hazel Erickson. A memorial service is being held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Geoff Scott officiating. Burial will be at Christ Lutheran/Halvorson Cemetery following the service. Friends and family are welcome at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
