About Me	After high school, I attended the U of I in Urbana-Champaign, then Harvard Law School. After law school I spent four and a half years on active duty with the U.S. Army's Judge Advocate General Corps, stationed in the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. I then came back to the Midwest and joined the firm of WilliamsMcCarthy LLP in Rockford, Illinois, where I have been for the past 18 years and am a partner. I have three older children with Kelly Runyon, the oldest two of whom have graduated from college and are on their old, and the youngest of whom is a senior at the U of I this year.
