Favorite School Memory | State High School Basketball Tournaments in Madison, WI; The fun and challenge of trying to both cheer and play in the MHS Marching Band at every half-time show during the home football games (remember trying to do this with BOTH of us changing in the car Cindy?); Singing/dancing in the musical "George M!" senior year; Playing saxophone under Mr. Khuen's brillant direction as he emphatically endorsed his motto,"Excellence is our MINIMUM Standard" whether that was Marching, Concert or Jazz Bands (ya gotta love that guy). About Me | Professionally speaking,outside of a 14 month Maternity Leave, I am very proud to say that I been in the field of elementary education as both a classroom teacher and/or guidance counselor since 1981. Personally, I have been married to my husband John for 24 years and we have a 19 year old son, Jacob, who will be a sophomore in college. Both my son and husband are what they refer to as "basketball addicts," and needless to say, my love for the game has grown as well. Besides being a Middle School Principal, my husband John is the head basketball coach at Nashua Community College and Jacob is a Point Guard at River College. Therefore, I am "cheering" in the crowds and "behind the scenes" at both schools playing either the "Basketball Mom" for Jacob or "Basketball Wife" for John. In our spare time (whatever that means) John and I are in the process of writing a children's book with the hope of one day actually seeking publication which, to be real honest, probably won't be happening until we both are actually retired - LOL!
