About Me	After graduation I departed for the military serving in the U.S. Army (Signal Corps). I've attended basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C., and advanced individual training at Fort Gordon, GA. My first duty station was Fort Lewis, WA where I stayed until May 1985. In June 1985 I was assigned to a 167th Signal Company in Vicenza, Italy. To make this story a bit shorter I resided in Italy for a total of 26 years and 4 years in Germany. I've spent time working in the ex-Yugoslavia just after the war and also in Iraq for over a 3 year period. After DoD would no longer extend me remain in Europe I was force to return to the USA by way of the U.S. Navy at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in August 2015.
