County Alumni Softball Tournament

Sunday, May 3rd 2009 1pm-dusk Starmill Park, Racine



The Racine/Southern Alumni Association is excited to host the first year County Alumni Softball Tournament! Eastern has already expressed interest in hosting 2010 tournament and Meigs may host 2011 if they wish to make the full circle!



We are planning this event to raise money for our alumni association scholarship fund.

The Racine Youth League will provide concession for the day at the field.

Southern will sell:

· Alumni shirts (for Southern alumni)

· Big Fooze Books

· Southern Alumni Basketball Night Game DVDs

· Baked goods and water

· Homerun Derby

· 50/50

· Corn Hole Tournament: sign up from 1pm-2pm $10/team games start at 2pm

Eastern and Meigs may also have a booth available for each school for alumni fund raising!



Details on the event:

· 2 teams from each school for a bracket tournament 6 teams with 2 teams getting a bye in the first round

· One field with 1 hour of play time and 15 minutes between each game

· Participants must be from each schools alumni

· $10 for each participant. (must pay that day and be on a roster to play)

· Each participant must bring 2 shirts (Southern-purple & gold, Meigs-maroon & gold, Eastern-white & green) players will be randomly placed on a team that day to eliminat
