I served our country from October 1973 to February 1981 in the United States Navy. I went to boot camp in Orlando, FL, attended computer tech school in San Diego, CA and Mare Island Vallejo, CA, stated at Damneck, Virginia Naval Station in Virginia Beach, attended more computer training in Monterey, CA, stationed at Fleet Weather Center Agana, Guam, stationed at Fleet Weather Center Rota, Spain and United States Navy Philadelphia, PA. Honorably discharged in Feb 1981. I used my Montgomery GI Bill educational bill which paid for my Associate Applied Science in Computer Science at Delaware County Community College Media, PA, my Bachelor of Science and Master in Business Administration at Saint Joseph University, Philadelphia, PA. I have worked as a computer software engineer from 1982 to 1985 in Moorestown, NJ, a computer programmer in Dayton, Ohio, a senior software Engineer at CACI, Inc Dayton, Ohio, and a Federal Employee Information Assurance Computer Security Expert. I completed a Master of Science in Cyber Operations in 2008 at the Air Force Institute of Technology WPAFB Dayton, Ohio. I retired from Federal DOD service in September 2015, having served our country for 42 years in various roles both private and federal. I am on LinkedIn as Jane Griffin.

Our Meigs High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Meigs High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
