I am Portuguese-Canadian* fine artist residing in London, Ontario Canada with my musical husband and son, as well as, two very vocal birds. I paint out of love and happiness. It is a real pleasure to put pen/pencil/brush to paper and create something. I am inspired by nature and the world around me. My work captures vignettes of my reality. Working mainly in coloured pencil, my work is often photo-realistic, but not always. I do delight in pushing my limits and trying new things, techniques, and styles, going back to realism after my adventures. I thoroughly enjoy viewing other people's work, savoring all styles and media, admiring what humans can accomplish in and through their arts.
