Randy Fichtner, born November 7, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, is an esteemed American football coach known for his 14-year tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He attended Meadville Area Senior High School in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he was a standout football player.

After high school, Fichtner went on to play defensive back for the Purdue Boilermakers at Purdue University. He then transitioned into coaching, serving as a graduate assistant with the Michigan Wolverines, USC Trojans, and UNLV Rebels from 1986–1989. His coaching career rapidly ascended, including a stint as the quarterbacks coach and recruiting director at Purdue and an offensive coordinator position at Arkansas State.

By 2010, Fichtner's role expanded to include quarterbacks coach and finally, in 2018, he became the Steelers' offensive coordinator. He retained this position until 2020, supporting the Steelers to secure a Super Bowl champion title in XLIII.
