About	Jean's only son, Michael J. Gray, died in Kuwait on Mar.5, 2004. She never really recovered from his loss. More and more she faded away from us until she died on Feb. 19, 2010, from a very nasty for incurable brain cancer. Jean was a Marine Veteran and Employee of the Virginia Education Association for over 30 years. She is sorely missed by those of us remaining. Due to experience as a member of the Meadowbrook Drill Team, she was chosen to be a member of the famed "8th. & I" Silent Drill Tream in Washington , D.C..She turned that position down to work in an area that would give her experience to help her find a job when she left the military!
