About Me	Today I woke up to sunshine and hugs & kisses from my wife and daughter and enjoyed a gastronomic cup of coffee from Portland's beloved Stumptown Coffee (viva la revolution!). Then I burned some calories biking up to Council Crest, Portland's highest location overlooking downtown and four Cascade volcanoes. The hour long ride up was rewarded with a 10-minute ride down to the City of Portland's Office of Sustainable Development where I'm working on a green building policy to promote the emergence of healthy energy-efficient buildings communiity-wide. After work, my wife and I will pickup our 4-year old daughter, Lilly from soccer and swim class and then ride to a Bike-In movie tonight at a nearby youth hostel. The movie is part of a Pedalpalooza, a month long bicyclying extravaganza that brings an international crowd to Portland to celebrate the zany, carbon-free c...(read more)
