About	Joyce passed away after a long battle with MS. She was a scholar (valedictorian of the class of 1966) an excellent athlete, accomplished pianist and sang regularly at church. She graduated from UCLA in 1970 with a BA in Sociology and went on to careers in finance and social work. She is survived by 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild, two sisters, Mary Brown and Anita Stockton and step sister Kathy Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Harold Bjornson who served as Minister at First Baptist Church and Miriam Bjornson, sister Jeanette, stepfather, and first and second husbands. She was a strong and resilient woman persisting with grace and humor throughout adversities in her life. She will be missed.
