Parker Gillespie attended Mclane High School in Fresno, CA.

Parker played clarinet in the Highlander band and was active in school activities. Just after graduation in 1970 Parker took a trip to the British Isles and was never the same again. He spent the rest of his life travelling the world at every opportunity. That eventually totalled around 200 countries. Less than a year before his passing, Parker finally was able to complete a trip to Antarctica, the only one of the Seven Continents that had eluded his grasp.
It will come as no surprise to those who knew Parker that he was active in an improv theatre group in the later years of his life and made quite an impression. R.I.P., buddy.
