Events	Jake Vanderburgh Jake Vanderburgh died June 25, 2015 at the age of 61. He was born Aug. 18, 1953 in Fresno, graduating from McLane High School, and attending Fresno City College. For the past 40 years, Mr. Vanderburgh has been a resident of Friant. He worked as a tile mason and a handyman for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stan. He is survived by his mother, Maryann and her husband Bob Nyberg of Fresno; his father, Earl; his son, Ryan of Eureka; his daughter, Maiya Frahm and her husband John of Eureka; his sister, Cindi Cook of Fresno; two grandchildren, Sofia and Emory; and aunts, uncles, and cousins in O’Neals. A graveside service was held at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera. Remembrances can be made in his name to the charity of choice.
