Walter Butch Nay left us on Monday, February 25, 2008.
Butch was raised in Fresno and moved to Yosemite National Park in 1974.
For the past several years, he has been the local postman for the Wawona Community. He had a great love for Yosemite and the people he shared it with.
Butch was a very generous and kind man. He would do anything for anyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mayme Nay. His memory will live forever at the Wawona Store and Post Office.
He leaves behind a loving sister, Noelle Stephens; brother, Mike Nay; as well as a multitude of friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Sierra Pines Church, Hwy 49 in Oakhurst, on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a children's charity of your choice. PALM MEMORIAL SIERRA CHAPEL 49269 Road 426 Oakhurst, Ca. (559)683-4370
