| About Me | Most of my career time has been devoted to serving children and the elders of our communities, first as a teacher's aide and then as a CNA. I found I prefered to work in the background, because that's where you find those who would otherwise be neglected or just allowed to completely slip through the cracks. I am currently working as a Concierge Temp, covering the lobby desk for many businesses in downtown DC and the surrounding areas. Next step...Retirement? Then I would be able to direct my energies to my two favorite non-profits; CASA and Hope House. I am a native Washingtonian who has never left here. Any others out there? I must admit though, I've been toying with the idea lately as I would like to be closer to kids/grandkids, but they are so spread out that I would be forced to chose. (those in Delaware, Florida or still here in DC) Better to stay here then, right? Even so, I still seem to have missed every reunion or gathering our class has had to date.
