Membership in the Golden Techites is open to all Tech classes following the 50th year of their graduation from McKinley Technical High School
We are excited to announce that this year you will have the opportunity to relive our glory days at McKinley Tech! On September 25 & 26, the McKinley Tech Class of 1965 will hold its 50th Class Reunion. For one weekend we will remember the plaza, the band, the games, the clubs, our teachers, and all of you. Please join us for two fun filled days of renewing our special bond, and sharing the most important story of our lives: our beginning.
The celebration will be at the JW Marriott 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20004. The beautifully renovated JW Marriott is conveniently located in downtown DC and will provide a classy setting for our special event. The reunion committee is working hard to make our reunion memorable. On Friday, Sept 25 we will have a Meet & Greet with heavy hor’dourves and music that will take you back to the day! We are asking for all students of The Therrell Smith School of Dance to come to our 65th anniversary celebration to come to the new Dunbar HIgh School. Luncheon will be at 1pm on Saturday. Ms. Smith will do a praise dance at Unity of Washington on the following Sunday. More to follow.
