About	1957 Graduate of McKinley High School, After receiving here degree she came back to teach a McKinley, where she spent the next 25 years teaching English and Journalism. She was advisor to the school newspaper and served as English Department Chair from 1972 to 1984, when she left McKinley to become the English/Language Arts Curriculum Specialist for Canton City Schools. She retired in 1995 after 34 years with the school system.
