About	Farrell , J. T. 65 White Oak J. Terrence Farrell, 65, of White Oak, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at UPMC McKeesport. Born in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Attorney J. Paul and Estelle (Koughan) Farrell. A practicing attorney in the City of McKeesport for 30 years, he was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne, member and past president of the McKeesport Lion's Club, member of the board and past president of the McKeesport Heritage Center, past president of the board of trustees of the Carnegie Library of McKeesport, board member of the Friends of the Library, board member of the Mon Yough AAA, East Central, board member of the former McKeesport National Bank, member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Boston Rails to Trails board and served as solicitor for the McKeesport Palisades and the McKeesport Performing Arts Group. A graduate of McKeesport High School class of 1965, he received his undergraduate and law degrees from Duquesne University in 1977. He is survived by his wife, Belinda O'Keson; three children, Michelle Farrell (Dr. Bernard III) Gilligan, of Wyoming, Pa., Christine Farrell (Attorney Mark) Zacharia, of Pittsburgh, and J. Paul (Deana) Farrell, of Mahwah, N.J.; three grandchildren, Maximilian and Alexander Gilligan and Peter Farrell; and seven brothers and sisters, Joanne Farrell (Dr. James V.) Bonessi, of Elizabeth Township, Dr. J. Paul (Madina Gerasimov, M.D.) Farrell, of Setauket, N.Y., Gail Farrell (Frank) Moyes, of Boulder, Colo., Dr. Michael Patrick (Dr. Madeline Schmitt) Farrell, of Rochester, N.Y., C. Timothy Farrell, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Theresa Farrell (Ian D.) Rosenberg, of Mt. Lebanon, and Cindy Farrell (Bruce) Lichtenstein, of Ashland, Mass. Friends will be received 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, in the HUNTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 1600 Coursin St., McKeesport, Pa. 15132. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, in Christ the Light of the World Church, 32 South First St., Duquesne, Pa. 15110, by the Rev. Dennis J. Colamarino, pastor, and Father Matthew Elanjileth. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the McKeesport Heritage Center or to the Carnegie Library of McKeesport.
