| About | Stephen L. Horner, Sr., 68, of Cortland, passed away July 18, 2015 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 13, 1946 in Cortland the son of the late Arthur and Sarah Boyden Horner. Stephen was a graduate of McGraw High School. He worked for AR Mack Construction in Syracuse for forty years until his retirement. He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching Syracuse basketball, football and car racing. He is survived by his wife Cindy Berardi Horner, his son Stephen L. (Susan) Horner Jr., his grandson Ryan Tuttle, her sister Marie (John) Ryan, his brothers Larry Horner and Glenn Horner, several nieces and nephews, along with his beloved dog Max. Stephen was predeceased by his sister Betty Breed, brothers Robert, Jerry, Fred, and Charles. |

My best friend growing up and always playing baseball with him. So many wonderful memories growing up together and hanging out all the time. Memories to fill a book, I was so blessed being his buddy. Kind of lost track of each other after he remarried. Love him just like a brother. RIP my dear friend. Can't wait to see you again.
