| About | Annie Pearson died in May 2023. She had the more serious strain of lupus and suffered in dignity throughout the last years of her life. She was a friend to all, wishing everyone the very best. Her profession was nurse and she worked at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago. She will be remembered for her sunny disposition and the school spirit she exhibited at McDowell High School. |

Annie Pearson and I communicated with each other the last several years before her death. She was the nicest person. She had been a nurse at Northwestern University hospital in Chicago for some years before her retirement. She had the severe strain of lupus, which is, I believe, what killed her. I remember her well from junior high school and high school; she always had a kind word for everyone. I for one miss her. If there is a heaven, she's certainly there, freed from the lupus that consumed her later years.
