Angelo Cheatham joined the United States Army in 1979. During his service time he participated in 2 Major Military Campains Gulf War 1 (Operation Desert Storm) and Operation Joint Endeavor (OJE). He currently works for the Federal Gov.

Entered right after High School. It made some very good changes in me; lost my shyness. Basic was Ft. Leonard Wood (lost in the woods). My AIT was at Ft. Sill (Artillery). My permanent station was Ft. Riley (Big Red One). My unit was up on "the hill". Upon joining, my unit was 1/7th FA. Later we changed to 2/5th FA.
I did 3 years active and 12 years reserves.
