Mike was a journalist through and through. He wrote for the school paper, the New Times, Mesa Tribune, and Arizona Republic. He was also involved with Investigative Reporters and Editors, a print media coalition that was formed to help investigate the Don Bolles assassination. He was very active in the lay ministry of
his church and was the author of a couple books. He is sorely missed by all who knew him, especially his wife, Kathy Brady Tulumello, and his sons Andy and Matt..
