| About Me | Well, after graduation and a great summer, I relocated to Arizona and attended college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where I became a member of their National Intercollegiate Flying Team and competed nationally all four years. I graduated with a B.S. in Aeronautical Science with a Minor in Aviation Safety / Air Accident Investigation in 1991. After graduation I moved from Arizona to Los Angeles where my mom and brother had moved to from McCall while I was in school. I worked as a flight instructor and sky dive pilot initially and then at the end of 1992 first part of 1993 I became active in Search and Rescue where I served for nearly 9 years. Towards the end of my time doing SAR, I was hired by the FAA – Los Angeles Flight Standards District Office and served with them until October of 2000 when I took my present job flying private jet charter for Clay Lacy Aviation, based in Van Nuys. In addition to flying the line in Learjet and Gulfstream aircraft, I head up the training for the company as well as several other functions including being the Flight Safety and TSA Security Officer. While I was doing SAR, I met Destiny whom I married in June of 2006 after we dated for several years. No kids yet, but we have 3 wonderful cats and a great future ahead of us. I still live in the Los Angeles area and actually fly to several areas in Idaho. Next time I’m up there, I’ll try to look some of you up.
