About Me	Gary & I have been married for 29 years, he had 3 boys when we got married and we raised them and they have been mine since then. We live in Mancos, CO in the southwest corner of Colorado where Gary worked for CDOT for 26 years and now he is retired. We bought property in Bullhead City, AZ so we go there in the the winters and back here in the summers. After over 26 years with dealing with the snow and avalanches Gary wants to enjoy the winter fishing, jet skiing, riding the harleys and boating and I totally agree with him. We both have harleys and 4-wheelers, we have 34' motorhome, a jet ski and a boat, here is CO and we have a boat and 2 jet ski we leave in AZ and we take the bikes back and forth. We do a lot of playing with our kids and the grandkids. I don't work outside the home right now after being laid off from CDOT due to economy but I take of Gary's Mom after his Dad passed away for awhile. It has become a 24/7 job with bigger headaches than working. Gary's Dad passed away in 2010 from kidney cancer. My folks are both passed away now. Dad passed away in 1982 from diabetes and Mom passed away from lung cancer in 2005. Our oldest grandson Tim does the rodeo thing Tim was first in the state in bull riding in 2008 and he is second in 2009 and made it to the high school finals 2 years in a row . He went to college in Kansas with a full ride scholarship and is going to go into professional bull riding and he is taking sports medicine in school. He is living in Arkansas right now doing his bull riding. Our grandson Stat has graduated from the Fire Academy and is working on being a Great EMT. He is doing great. Jamie, our 38 year old, works for CDOT too and is engaged to Lena and she has 3 boys that live with their father but has 1 of them, Sterling, every other weekend so Jamie is learning what it's like to be a dad. Richard, our 36 year old is a US Marshall. He has an 8 year old, Madison. She is the only grandaughter that we have so she is the light of our life for grandpa and me along with Tim and Stat, but we don't get to see them often as we would like as they are grown boys and doing their own thing and we have Lena's boys, Tuff, Lane and Sterling . All our family lives within 30 miles of us so we are very lucky for 6 months and then they are 7 hours away when we are in AZ for...(read more)
