| About Me | I was raised in Texas. Born Texas 1928. H.S. Grad 1947; B Journalism University of Texas 1951. M Journalism UT 1955. USN at Little Creek 1952-54, Oil writer San Angelo 1954. Edited Offshore magazine 1955-57. UT Austin Bureau of Extension 1957-60. Texas Independent & Royalty Owners Association 1962-4; TEA 1969-70; UT again, for most of 30 years, instructional materials on LP-Gas, Work Simplification, being a pro photographer. Now retired and wrote short boat on a long river Married Peggy Lord 1952. She died 2005. Sons--Shea 1955, Bryant 1957, Andrew 1961. Bryant died 2005, Shea in 2011. Excellent daughters in law, grandchildren, various, greats. Belonged to St. Andrews,Genesis, Trinity, now Central -- Andy is currently active as film maker and has done one on handicapped people going up Mount Everest. There will be a sequel, about Nepalese in U.S. Has one, Primarily Primates about a sanctuary. Membership now Golden K. Visit at other clubs. University, Greater South, Sun City.
