Navy, 15 Years
Served on active duty from Aug. 1951 thru
Oct. 1954 aboard the USS Pine Island
AV-12. The Pine Island was a seaplane tender
supporting different patrol squadrons in the far east. Korea, Formosa, Okinawa and Subic Bay
in the Phillipines, were our main ports of operation. Served in the active reserves from
Oct 1954 thru May 1966 in Salt Lake City UT.
