After two years of being stuck in Vietnam due to Covid, I am back home in Cambodia. Vietnam is by far the most colorful country in Southeast Asia. I shot 62,000 photos in Saigon alone while bicycling out to the farthest districts shooting photos of over six hundred churches and Buddhist and Cao Dai temples and a few mosques, but, most importantly, rubbing shoulders with thousands of men and women putt putting about on their motorbikes, a very sweet and gentle folk with a nice patient perspective on life. Strangely, despite all the horrors of the Vietnam War, we have no homelessness and very little Covid either in Vietnam or Cambodia, still two very poor countries.
