In the interest of everyone we have identified the following three venues for Friday evening. We have rank ordered them. Our first choice is the Wicked Moose. This venue has multiple bars including a sports bar and a music bar. On Friday evening, “Four on the Floor” will be playing in the live music bar. There will be a $10 cover charge. Several people have contacted me to say that they are planning on going there including Gary Johnson and Dean Tollefsrud. Wes and I plan to go there and, I believe, Colleen & Dave Behnken will be there. Here is a link:

A second choice is The Mayo Auditorium.
Rochester Civic Theatre hosts free concerts every Friday night during the summer on the outdoor patio. Fresh grilled food, and a beer and wine bar are also available. August 9 features Annie Lawler whose main influences are blues, jazz, and alt-country. The patio and grill are open from 5 to 10 p.m. The music starts at 6 p.m. Where: 20 Civic Center Drive SE, Roch No Admission Fee.
A third choice is Kathy’s Pub in downtown Rochester. They have a patio area that is outside and also have live music. Here is the link:

Hello classmates, There's approximately a month until our reunion, so I thought I'd send out a message with some information about the October 3rd weekend. Friday, October 2nd is Mayo's homecoming, so during the day anyone who is in town will have the opportunity to see the parade. That night we will be able to cheer our Spartan football team to victory! We will be facing Mankato East, against whom we have a lifetime 19-4 record. On Saturday, we have arranged for a tour of Mayo to take place at 10am for anyone who is interested. This is both so that our class can see changes that have been made since we graduated, and so that people can show their significant others Mayo's building and campus. Meeting location: Door 6. Saturday evening is of course the reunion itself, which will take place at the Ramada. Here we will be able to reconnect with friends of old, as well as to get acquainted with some new faces throughout the night. On the agenda is a social hour, dinner, homage to the past and present, and a bit of dancing to round out the night for those brave enough to test their skills. For those who have not sent in their RSVP, there is still time. What's most important is simply that we know you are coming. If you think you might not get the RSVP in by Monday, just send back an email indicating your attendance, and if you are bringing a guest. Looking forward to seeing many of you soon, Reunion committee P.S.
