About	Raymond 'Rusty' Van Pelt, former Mayfield High School Principal and life-long educator, passed away January 4th, 2011. Services will be Friday, January 7th, at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Las Cruces. In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a scholarship to benefit a senior from MHS that will be attending NMSU. Memorial fund information: R.W.
