About	Cynthia “Cindi” Merritt passed away at her home on May 8, 2015 with her husband, George, by her side. She was born on Dec. 30, 1947 in Lakewood, Calif. and attended Orange Coast College. A flight attendant for American Airlines for 35 years, Merritt often had the chance to fly to some of her favorite places, including Honolulu, Tokyo, London and Rome. An avid dog lover, tennis player and fan of the beach, Merritt found Malibu the perfect haven the last 18 years. “Cindi braved a long battle with health issues but forever kept her keen sense of humor,” a loved one shared.
