Regarding A Tradition Gone

I agree with Ross Rathbun. The honor students should be allowed to march separately as honor students have in the past... is the tradition going away to be 'PC'? Well, how do you think these honor students feel? Has anyone thought about their feelings and what they would like...apparently not? There is PC and then there is PC which actually henders tolerance of others.
I say let the honor students march separately!
This comment is coming from someone who was not a honor student.

Wecolme Home Coach!

John Quinnerly '92, better known as John" Q", is now the Head Football Coach at Maury. Coach Quinnerly was a multiple sport star and great student loved by all at Maury. Coach Quinnerly has done nothing but uphold the proud name and tradition of His alma mater. We need to support our coach, because He is one of our own, and He deserves nothing but our best effort in supporting Him and Maury. God Bless John "Q" and His staff, as they perpare to take Maury to New Heights!

A Tradition Gone

The class of 2008 will not be able to conduct their graduation in the tradition that has been in place fat Maury High School for the past 30 years. This year the honor graduates will be forced to march in alphabetical order instead of the traditional manner of previous graduations where the honor graduates marched according to class rank. Loosing one more tradition at Maury High School would be disastrous.
