David Paterson
Class of 1984
After leaving Maury, David continued to pursue a career in the theater. He began writing and has had several plays produced and published, including two shows that were on Broadway and Off Broadway. In 2005 a film adaption of one of David's plays was accepted and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The title, LOVE LUDLOW. In 2007 David adapted his mother's book, BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA, for the screen and in February 2007 it was released by Walt Disney worldwide, with critics citing it as one of the best films of 2007.
David continues to write, and is married with two children living just outside New York City.
