Born on 9 October 1947, Pvt 1st Class Kenneth Quan was killed during hostile action in the Republic of South Vietnam as a result of multiple fragmentation wounds on 6 May 1968. He was 20 years old. He served in the 101st Airborn Divsion, 502nd Infantry as a light weapons infantryman. .

Ken was a fun loving classmate and I have lots of fond memories of our athletic activities. All these years later and I still think of him often.

Ken was a great person, I played football with him and he was always a good friend and kind person. I missed seeing him at school driving his Ford Model A. I remember attending his funeral as if if was yesterday. Rest in peace brother.
