About Me	Retired from US Navy after 27 years (10 with the Marine Corps and 17 years with the Submarine Force) where I served in the Fleet Marine Force, Pacific as a Field Medical Technician (combat medic) and Radiological Technologist from 1968- 1978 (Vietnam Veteran) and then was assigned to the Submarine Force Atlantic from1979-1990 (Desert Gulf Veteran) and the Submarine Force Pacific from 1990-1995 as the Medical Officer, Radiation Health Officer and Nuclear Weapons Radiological Control Officer on 5 Nuclear Fast Attack Submarines, plus on Submarine Squadron 2 Staff, and as the Senior Instructor at the Naval Undersea Medical Institute followed by last submarine tour on a Special Projects Submarine in the Pacific Fleet. After retirement I went to work for the Maine Emergency Management Agency as the State Nuclear Safety Planner and then the Maine Center for Disease Control, Radiation Control Program as the State Radioactive Material...(read more)
