Career Conversations at Isaac Sheppard Elementary School

You have the power to empower through Career Conversations with 4th grade students from Isaac Sheppard Elementary School in Philadelphia!

Guest speaker volunteers have the power to impact the lives of young students who need role models that they can relate to in both backgrounds and interests.

Volunteer Requirements:
• Come to Sheppard from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm on one of these dates: May 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15.
• Share academic and career background and life experiences with students and researcher for use in paper.
• Provide knowledge in area of study to help plan a hands-on activity for students.

Nephew

Alexander A Mikutis, an early 1940's graduate passed away on AUGUST 27, 1990. My Uncle served in the Army Air Force in the CBI in WW11. After the wars end he served at various PA/NJ based National Guard and Reserve locations as a Flight Simulator technician both full and Part Time, He passed away from a debilitating disease he incurred in Burma, during WW11, that was unable to be successfully treated by the Philadelphia VA Medical Center after many years of in/outpatient treatment.
