| About Me | Born in Kansas, Raised in Arizona since first grade. Culturally a westerner, libertarian/liberal/conservative/moderate pragmatist. A Professor in rehabilitation counseling in Chicago. PhD in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Emporia State University in Kansas. Attending Arizona State University from 1970-1975 majoring in partying and worked in the restaurant business in Arizona and California into my thirties in such places as The Pointe in Phoenix, Monterrey Whaling Company in San Diego and Scottsdale, and Nantucket Lobster Trap in Phoenix while at ASU.... thus my late blooming. I like to say that I took my retirement up front! I am an avid Badger and UW Alumni. I live on a farmette in southern Wisconsin with my significant other of 16 years and Benny the Beagle who is actually a 20 pound person with a fur coat - the a highlight of our life, he is cuter than hell! Love sports, history, geography, cultural divesity, travel, cooking (yes, I'm fat), family and friends. Political moderate, a registered Democrat but a Colin Powell Republican at heart just can't bring myself to associate with the Rush Limbaugh crowd.
