Primary job is to travel with the Sec of Defense, Chmn Joint Chief of Staff, and Chief of Staff Air Force to set up mobile/fixed communication which allows them to be connected at all times, this includes wireless, satellite, classified and unclassified.

Bernard retired in 2004 after serving his country faithfully.
