| About Me | After high school I started at the University of South Alabama where I was in the radiologic technologist program. I married in 1986 to MGM 1981 graduate Terry Tanner. We then moved to Nashville, Tennessee. I transfered to Volunteer State Community College. I graduated their radiologic technologist program. We lived in Nahsville for 6 years then moved back home to Mobile. I worked at Springhill Memorial hospital in surgery. I absolutely loved it there. While I was pregnant with our son Kai I had a back injury in the e.r. which put me out of commission until he was born. I then went to work at McGregor Medical for two years. I then stayed at home and raised our son. I did a little work for Clinique Cosmetics as a makeup artist for a few years. My husband got a promotion and we were transfered to Montgomery in 1997. We just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. I continued to work as a make up artist for a few years when Kai was in school. I didn't work for a couple of years then a friend got me in to working for a merchandising company part time, so I could still take Kai to and from school. My husband works out of time mostly. Kai turned 16 in December and now that he is able to take himself to school, I am planning on slowly returning to school. I will be going back to college for radiologic technology since so much time has lapsed since I worked in the field. I also own a jewlery and accessory business here in Montgomery. I have a wonderful husband who is now the vice president ot the largest food brokerage business in Alabama. Our son Kai is a junior at Churchill Academy. He is all redneck. He loves ...(read more) |
