About Me	After graduating from high school I went to Iowa State University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. In 2002, I was hired as an intern at the Iowa Department of Public Health in the Environmental Health Section as an Environmental Specialist. In 2003 I was hired by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship - Division of Soil Conservation as an Environmental Specialist. My specific job was a Watershed Coordinator for the Whitebreast Creek Watershed (Clarke, Lucas, Marion and Warren Counties). In 2006 I was hired by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources - Environmental Services Division as an Environmental Specialist. My job was a National Permit Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit writer for municipal and semi-public wastewater treatment facilities.
